Mt Rainier – Sunrise – hike to frozen lake

Every vacation I look for that one moment of zen, that place you will always remember.???? you close your eyes, take a deep breath, and feel the sun on your face.??
??
This was the place for me.???? we left cloudy Paradise Inn, and drove 2 hrs around the mountain to the sunrise area.?????? the mountain opened up and was there in all its glory.???? we took a hike to “Frozen Lake”, with great 360 views most of the time.?????? there were snow fields to traverse, which happened without incident (well mostly) .?? so cool.??

Excellent. I could almost appreciate the snow and wind and mountain peaks in the background, were it not for someone hounding his family to wave their fists at me.
